COVID-19

By now you have received information from individuals and organizations from virtually every aspect of your life.  Our stance is redundant to many of those and consistent with the guidelines of the CDC. For over 73 years our family business has faced many challenges.  This one is certainly unique.  The safety and security of our customers and employees is our foremost concern.   We are however a critical supply chain component not only for comfort but more importantly for the necessity of refrigeration, heating and air quality.  In order to fulfil that critical mission while strategically doing our part in reducing the probability of communal spread, we have assessed our operations and would like to provide you with the following information.

1. Although all our branches remain open and fully staffed, we encourage you to use email, texting to our primary branch numbers, faxing and telephone calls to communicate what we can do for you.  Nine out of ten times we can solve your problem with a picture of the product tag or the item while avoiding close personnel contact.

2. We will be practicing personal separation and ask that you assist us by keeping our counters a safe space between personnel.

3. If given advance notice on orders, by request we will have them pulled and packaged for you to pick-up in our established “will call” areas without having to make any close physical contact.

4. If you do not want to use our signature pads, on invoices we will require a purchase order and your first middle and last name to put on the invoice prior to printing.

5. In addition to this we have installed in our buildings the Guardian air units. These units have been tested to kill 99+% of all tested viruses.  We have been using them for over 10 years and can provide you with additional information or testimonials.  In addition to physically wiping surfaces these units are constantly scrubbing the air and surfaces.  www.RGF.com

6. We have also adopted a policy to promote any employee suspecting they may have the COVID-19 virus or any other contagious illness to not report to work.
